MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – December 21, 2015 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine

Ed Deming
The Board of Selectmen agreed with Sue to have dog licensing fees remain the same.
An additional vacation week was given to Ed Deming, Superintendent of Public Works during Fiscal 2015 for Overtime Compensation. Ed asked if there is any thought in the same compensation for 2016. The Selectboard will discuss further if a large number of overtime hours are accumulated.
Frances Deming would like to write short stories to include some history of Tolland to be posted on News and Notices. The board would like to have the historical committee review them before they are posted.
The Selectboard request that Ed get quotes to combine the 2 Burt Hill Road paving projects. Ed is waiting for labor quotes.
In regards to the sale of alcohol at the Festival to be held at Camp Kinderland
MIIA’s recommendation is “to have the camp and vendors have Liquor liability and provide Tolland with certificates naming the town additional insured if possible. Limits should be at least a minimum of $1,000,000. This is NOT the same as general liability. Also there should be appropriately trained and certified “TIPS” trained bartenders-“
Fees were set as: Event fee $500
Vendor fee $25
Porta-Potty Fee $25
